Relaxing ocean yoga flow

Are you struggling with negative thinking, unhealthy behaviors, stress or control issues that are making your body transformation more difficult than it has to be?

Virtually every client I've worked with in the past 15 years resisted optimal health fitness and happiness for various reasons by constantly sabotaging themselves.   Even I struggled with this after the birth of my son, 15 years ago.  One of the main reasons this happens to so many is fear of the unknown...

It's only when you realize that change is inevitable that you  finally surrender the negative thinking, bad behaviors, toxic stress and unrealistic expectations for a better body and better life. 

If this is something you're struggling with just think about how much you could accomplish in your life and with your body if you willingly surrendered everything that isn't serving you right now?  I know from personal experience that this is not easy to do especially when you feel like you need to control every aspect of your life.  I struggled to let go for years until I started practicing flow yoga on a regular basis.

Practicing a movement meditation, which is the essence of flow yoga , is what helped me let go of all the things that I could not control and that were no longer serving me so that I could become the best version of myself.  

And the best thing about this is there is no thinking involved.  You just move, let go and flow into a better place that allows you to experience how amazing you & life can be without all the stress, worry and pressure.

This is what I was doing in the ocean yoga flow I filmed in Hawaii just a few weeks ago.  I was letting go of tons of pressure and stress over things I could not control and that would only get better if I let go of the need to control them. 

ocean yoga flow part 2: best for intermediate to advanced 

The practice was about 46 minutes long but I cut it down to two 19 minute videos and added narration so that you can follow along if you like.  Even if you can't do the more advanced yoga flow poses you will get an amazing release from following more beginner poses and listening to the calming sound of the ocean.

And if yoga is not your thing then I totally understand.  It isn't for everybody in which case I highly recommend hiking or other forms of movement meditation like swimming, kayaking, or even dancing.  I wrote about all those in my summer workout options article here
