I have I think more a pear shape figure. Have a stomach i wanna lose but don't wanna lost boobs cause I don't have alot and wanna reshape and tone my butt. Thin out my thighs a little and tone arms and legs. Do I need a gym and is this possible?

pear shapes can lose fat and maintain chest

Thanks for posting your question Brandy. I have worked with pear shaped clients in the gym, outdoors, and online with very similar shape to what you are describing and non-gym workouts are probably going to get you much better results.

The two key things that are going to help you lose the fat without losing your boobs are #1. Clean non-processed foods diet. Get started with our list of healthy foods to eat for lean toned body. #2. Patience and about 6-8 weeks.

Here's the deal with having a smaller chest; boobs are fat so losing a bit of chest is going to be inevitable especially if you are small up top like me and many of the women I train.

BUT here is the good news. The more gradual your weightloss/fatloss the more control you have over how you reshape your body AND the more likely your results are to last. Meaning once you get the body you want you will be able to keep it that way forever!! Here is what we would do if you were my client:

2 days of intense butt/leg training with workouts under 35 min. long using little to no weight but working at a fast pace with excellent technique. As you get fitter be sure to start getting into the more complex movement patterns to avoid bulking up legs. More info on that here: Thigh Slimming Exercises

3 days of total body circuits for weightloss/fatloss with workouts 20-25 min. in length and with mostly db and bodyweight exercises that burn tons of fat and mostly target the core and upper body. More info on that here: female body type fitness

5 days of 20-25 min. any type of cardio workouts for weightloss (article above has 2 lists of best options for 4 body types).

1-2 day of core focused yoga, or Pilates, or dance fitness or other core workouts and tons of stretching to lengthen out the body and create a beautiful posture that will make your legs/arms look leaner and chest look bigger than it really is. Also helps to align your pelvis and make your booty look higher and tighter.

If possible workout daily for about 45-50 min. with the 7th day of core/stretching being your active recovery day.

Remember that the more gradual the weightloss/fatloss the more in control you are of your shape.

Fitness is all about combining the right types of exercises and workouts for your body type in a way that allows you to balance the upper/lower body and create a shape that is appealing to you.
