My idea of sexy is this look. Not skinny not ripped and not altered surgically. Click pics for more captions... To me being active outdoors is key to being happy so eating healthy to be able to do that is a priority. Figure out your brand of sexy then accept where you are and get to work creating it :)

So this new sexy cleaning ad that showed up on my fb feed late last night is social proof that even mainstream products and ad campgains have caught on to sexy is the new everything mindset.

What does this have to do with getting your best female figure? Well for years the war between the skinny bitches and curvy bootylicious females and the healthy fit and the steroid injected silicone implanted fit chics was going strong...

So even though the fitness biz claimed to be about fitness this was hardly the reality. Most fitness companies, products, and programs made money with ad campaigns that were designed to make you feel inferior. Example: you're inadequate looking and need to be fixed but this random product here is the only way to fix yourself.

They came up with condescending slogans like strong is the new skinny or fit is the new skinny or healthy is the new skinny which made most women feel awful which is exactly the point when you're trying to sell fitness products that make you "look hot".

But savvy women got tired of this and they came up with their own slogan: WE DON'T NEED A NEW SKINNY! It happened this year and it's a clear sign that the times are changing! Women today don't want to be told how they're supposed to look to feel good. They just want to feel/look good on their terms end of story!

So it seems that fitness is no longer about just looking good it's also about the attitude because as most smart women have figured out you can't have the body of your dreams unless you have the confidence to go after it in the first place.

This is in fact the truth supported by years of research studies which have found that liking who you are even if you don't have the body/life you desire just yet gives you the confidence boost to accomplish so much from your fitness. Makes more sense than just approaching workouts from the I'm not good enough mindset that fitness companies have sold you for years doesn't it.

Like the cleaning slogan in the ad said you don't need dirty thoughts (negative mindset) to get fit and be sexy. The minute you decide to clean your mind of all the dirty fitness brainwashing you've been exposed to for years is the day you will just feel sexy and start getting that sexy body you've always wanted.
